This week in celebrity beauty was all about heatwave-proof glam: from Zendaya’s braided crown to Ella Bright’s relaxed lob.
Welcome back to Beauty Marks: Vogue’s weekly edition of the best moments in celebrity beauty, from Vogue editors’ IG feeds, and all the glam of the fashion and pop culture landscapes. Each week, we curate the nail art to pin for your next nail appointment, new recruits to ‘Team Bob’, and major red carpet moments from the week’s most glamorous affairs. As always, it’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail artists, as well as the creators crafting the trends you’re about to see everywhere.
This week in celebrity beauty was all about heatwave-proof glam. Zendaya swapped her bixie for some extra-long, goddess-like lengths while on the press tour for The Odyssey: Coree Moreno crafted an intricate braided bun that fought frizz and fulfilled the Greek goddess fantasy. Then, to the Dior couture show, where a suite of celebrities fought the Paris heatwave to look sleek and elegant: Ella Bright’s new clavi-cut was styled in relaxed, tousled ways by Rena Calhoun, while Nina Park’s hair was glossed-to-the-gods by Christian Wood. Zoe Taylor gave Grace Gummer a soft-touch bronze and a sun-dappled highlight to sit front row, too. As this instalment of Beauty Marks shows, it’s important to work with the heat, and revel in the summery aesthetics—while it lasts!
