G-SHOCK and BABY-G Introduce BOLD CAMO Collection, Reinterpreting Camouflage Patterns

Camouflage has long been a pillar of street fashion, but G-SHOCK and BABY-G‘s new BOLD CAMO collection gives the timeless print a striking modern evolution.

At the heart of the release is a bespoke, avant-garde camouflage pattern meticulously engineered around the brands’ signature “G” motif. The lineup breaks into two compelling narratives: CAMO AND GOLD, which elevates the rugged aesthetic with premium metallic accents, and COLOR CAMO, an audacious series that trades traditional earthy tones for vibrant, high-contrast palettes.

First, the G-SHOCK lineup introduces 4 specific models: the GM-6900CMG-3, DW-6900CMG-3, GA-V01CMG-3A, and GA-700CMG-3A. The original camouflage pattern is applied across the bezels and bands, resulting in a design that blends elements of street style and military aesthetics.

The GM-6900CMG-3 (¥35,200) closely resembles the exclusive, ultra-limited 10-piece global model that recently made headlines. It pairs a gold metal bezel with a matching gold dial to achieve a heavy, premium look. The GA-V01CMG-3A (¥26,950) incorporates gold anodized hands, while the GA-700CMG-3A (¥24,200) features gold vapor-deposition on both the dial and hands, creating a commanding presence that symbolizes the core theme of the series.

Additionally, the DW-6900CF-1 (¥15,400) and GA-700CF-1A (¥22,000) are models that use black as a base color while incorporating camouflage dials and gold accents. They elevate military-inspired design into a contemporary street style, offering timepieces that balance G-SHOCK’s signature toughness with unique individuality.

The COLOR CAMO series boldly reimagines the original camouflage pattern with vibrant coloring. The lineup includes the vivid pink GA-V01CMG-4A (¥26,950) and the purple GA-V01CMG-6A (¥26,950), both crafted to serve as standout statement pieces for street fashion.

From BABY-G, three models arrive based on the popular BG-169, known for its compact round shape and front protector design. The lineup features the blue-green BG-169CM-2 (¥18,150), the pink BG-169CM-4 (¥18,150), and the gray BG-169CMB-8 (¥19,250), with the original camouflage pattern wrapped entirely around the watches. The brand’s signature playful spirit is scattered throughout, including a subtly hidden “G” mark within the pattern.

The BOLD CAMO collection successfully merges a classic street style pattern with a color palette that channels a distinct Y2K mood. While highlighting the individual characteristics of both G-SHOCK and BABY-G, it is a collection that can be enjoyed regardless of gender or personal style.
