He finished the look with a Pattaraphan silver chain, a custom Jennifer Meyer Skylrk necklace, and simple stud earrings. With their own takes on high-quality basics and pared-back palettes, the duo appeared to be effortlessly in sync.

Of course, they are by no means abandoning their signature dissimilar dressing. Just a few weeks ago, the couple doubled down on their knack for stark contrast when Hailey wore a flirty ’90s-era lingerie slip, and Justin piled on layers of XL Skylrk merch. That’s the thing about the Biebers—where other partners take great lengths to appear aligned, they embrace antithetical style philosophies and somehow complement each other even more.

Indeed, it’s the act of not trying that makes their rare, subtle matching all the more chic. They may not coordinate for A-list fashion parties or polished red carpets. But for a weeknight sushi run, the Biebers are in sync.
