The New York lifestyle label rebuilds the enduring tennis staple through its own lens, applying a distinctive finishing process and understated branding to turn one of menswear’s most recognizable silhouettes into a limited collaborative piece.

The core of the project is a special-order reconstruction of the L.12.12 body. Saturdays NYC starts from Lacoste’s definitive polo and customizes the shirt with a proprietary wash-and-fade treatment, engineering a lived-in texture that reads as though the piece has been worn for years despite being brand new. The result gives the crisp, upright polish of French sportswear a more relaxed, broken-in character in line with the label’s downtown sensibility.

The branding is where the two identities meet.
