Telltale Games Reveals Bigby Wolf’s Return in ‘The Wolf Among Us 2’ Announcement Trailer

The Story

Telltale Games has finally shattered years of relative silence by dropping an official announcement trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2. Serving as a direct follow-up to the studio’s critically acclaimed 2013 episodic noir adventure, the highly anticipated sequel thrusts players back into the cynical, rain-slick underworld of Fabletown.

Set during a freezing New York City winter, the story picks up roughly six months after the events of the original title, following Bigby Wolf (voiced by the returning Adam Harrington) as he struggles to keep his inner animalistic rages in check while navigating his suspension as sheriff. Alongside Bigby, Erin Yvette officially returns to voice Snow White, who is now attempting to maintain systemic order within Fabletown’s fragmented government.

The new trailer immediately sets the tone of the series’ iconic, stylized neon visuals and gritty noir atmosphere, with the teased footage establishing its neon-noir, high-stakes detective narrative. Bigby is seen studying a dense, string-connected corkboard tracking a string of six total victims – all of whom are ordinary human “Mundies” rather than Fables – where each case features a husband and wife found completely shredded to pieces.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is locked in for a 2027 release, where it will be available to play across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
