The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026 Is Here—What Vogue Editors Are Shopping

It’s no secret that the summer months are chock-full of sales, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026 is one that tops our lists every year. Unlike most sales, for their 125th Anniversary, Nordstrom is not only marking down styles from past seasons but offering steep discounts on brand new arrivals too, adding 50 new brands and larger selection than ever before.

A preview of the deals dropped on July 6, giving Vogue editors a sneak peek of what to expect. Nordstrom card members received early shopping access on July 16, but now the sale is officially open for all. To make the most of it (the event runs through August 9) I asked my stylish and very savvy colleagues just what they’re hoping to snag on sale—here’s what they told me.

“I travel a fair amount during the year. I’m excited to pick up what I consider essentials: a great new pajama set, luxurious skincare, a cozy sweater for the plane and casual downtime, and an eye mask to help me sleep (I’m a total darkness sleeper) wherever I am in the world.”

“I often loathe spending full price on very practical pieces; gym kit, travel essentials, suitcases, even sunglasses (whilst I love having fun with different styles they’re still a necessity in my eyes, excuse the pun). The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is great for removing guilt on these essentials.”

“I love to cook, and my kitchen is already stocked with pieces from Made-In and Le Creuset. The quality of both brands is amazing, and I know they’ll be put to good use. I also adore Flamingo Estate’s candles​, and I never see them on sale. Similarly, I’ve been wanting to try Dr. Diamond's Metacine skincare for a while now, so finding it at a discount feels like a sign!”

“When it comes to major sales like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I like to do one logical thing, one fun thing. Like I need new sheets, but I’d love this Gucci watch that’s customizable. I need a pair of sensible shoes for work, but I’d love these metallic Victoria Beckham eyeliners. It’s a win-win!”

“Despite the heatwave, it’s never too early to start dreaming of transitional dressing. Sometimes a suitcase-ready, pre-wrinkled shirtdress, and a pair of casual mules is all you need.”

“I’ve been very into my home lately—sometimes more so than fashion, which is shocking, I know! Now that I have a little one, I want to make sure every ounce of my home is comfortable and easy. I’ve been redoing the bathroom decor, my hair tools, and even the bedroom. ‘Tis the season for a refresh!”

“I’m currently preparing for vacation so I have packing on the brain. I need to restock on some skincare essentials, and am eyeing this adorable Chanel set that features a reusable pouch that always comes in handy, plus some U Beauty minis. The Resurfacing Compound is one of my favorite things! As one leg of my trip is a tennis camp, adding some court-friendly apparel to cart doesn’t hurt!”

“This Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I’m checking a few things off my wishlist – a bit of self-care, a few home updates, and of course, accessories (can you ever have enough?). I've been meaning to try the Dr. Diamond products; a perfect way to test-drive them is with this discovery kit before committing. As for the tried-and-true favorite, I use Westman Atelier blush religiously, so I'm stocking up on this set. These are all great buys!”

“I’m taking advantage of Nordstrom’s anniversary sale by buying things I actually need but have been putting off—from silk hair tie restocks to homeware essentials. My old pots and pans are ready to be retired—so a chic cookware set is a nice replacement. I need new luggage too, and I particularly love Away’s suitcase and carry-on bag set in Oxblood.”

“This year, I’m trying to plan ahead because the best transitional wardrobe is one you build over time, not scramble to piece together in September. My non-negotiables include a cinched trench coat, statement sunglasses, a sleek minimalist dress, and preppy loafers.”

“I’m obsessed with Flamingo Estate’s tomato candle; there are a few of their products included in the Anniversary Sale, if you’re looking for a gift. I also found some cozy loungewear to bookmark, and while I probably don’t need another suitcase, I love Away’s burgundy color and it’s currently discounted in all sizes. It might be time for a luggage refresh.”

“I’ve had a very busy summer so far, and I think I must be craving some R&R, because I’ve immediately gravitated towards items of comfort and ease. I love Flamingo Estate’s Heirloom Tomato scent, and this candle and hand soap duo is a fresh, herbaceous summer treat. I am also a sucker for a matching pajama set, and this striped option from Polo Ralph Lauren is bright and sunny. I plan to restock my favorite Nécessaire body lotion, which is both moisturizing and surprisingly lightweight, ideal for these warm-weather months. And last but definitely not least, the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x Multi-Styler is a 6-in-1 tool that will make getting ready a breeze!”

“I've had my eyes on Miu Miu’s Riviere sandals for quite a few seasons now, and while I know I am very much late to the party, perhaps now’s the time to finally add to cart? Mesh totes are also topping my wish list, and Proenza’s Chelsea east/west bag feels like the ultimate carryall—from beach days to city strolls and everything in between.”

“Ever since I got my Theraface depuffing wand I haven’t stopped using it. The cold feature has been perfect for the heat wave and it really works at depuffing your face and making it looked snatched and I will be buying everyone in my life one!

Also my favorite shoes of the moment have been my jelly slides from Vince, they’re so easy to slip on and off and comfortable. I will definitely be buying another pair during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale.”

“I just got back from Paris and as you may have heard … it was hot. A lot of guys wore just a T-shirt tucked into some pleated pants, which was both polished and seemed cool enough for warm days. I think these ones from NN07 seem like the right amount of fashion-y and yet still pretty grounded for everyday wear.

I'm pretty casual as a rule, but lately I’ve been on the hunt for a “casual blazer”—something to just toss on top of a T-shirt if I want to look a little more dressed-up. This one from COS is made from a linen blend and has no collar, which makes it the perfect little piece that’s almost like an overshirt.”

“I look forward to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale every year, it’s the perfect time to check a few items off my wish list. I’m eyeing some fun statement accessories, like the Staud Harlow bag and these cat-eye Givenchy sunnies. I’ve also been a longtime fan of MZ Wallace for all things travel, and this duffle is the perfect size for weekend getaways outside the city.”
