Last fall, the actor dyed her hair a bright shade of copper—but there’s a sweet reason she returned to blonde for her son Dylan’s wedding.
Pamela Anderson has lived many lives. The actor, beauty entrepreneur, avid gardener, and philanthropist—who turned 59 years old just a few days ago—is known for her kohl-lined eyes, skinny brows, and tumbling blonde hair. Anderson has been her signature shade of blonde for practically the entire time she’s been in the public eye—but in September of last year, the actor chose to try out a striking shade of coppery red.
But, apparently, it wasn’t long for this world. During an appearance on the Today show earlier this year revealed a beauty Easter egg about why she returned to blonde: It was a request from her son, Dylan Lee, who was engaged and planning a wedding to Paula Bruss. Anderson recalls Lee asking, “Mom, can you be blonde for my wedding?” And that was that.
For Lee and Bruss’s big day, published today on Vogue, Anderson kept the sunny vibes going in a yellow lace dress with a matching caplet. She also had one thing to say about her brief era as a redhead: “It feels good” to be blonde again.
