
In its first major acquisition, the family-owned Spanish footwear brand Camper has purchased a 60 percent stake in the Grecian sandal maker.
The Spanish footwear brand Camper has made its first majority investment, acquiring a 60 percent stake in Ancient Greek Sandals, whose co-founders Nikolas Minoglou and Christina Martini and co-owner Yiannis Vagenas will retain the remaining 40 percent stake. Ancient Greek Sandals will continue to operate as an independent brand, with Minoglou, Martini and Vagenas remaining in their respective roles as CEO, creative director and chief brand and marketing officer.
