Accompanied by her children and husband Prince William to the men’s singles final, Princess Catherine opted to wrap up her Wimbledon return in a game day-appropriate shade.
Kate Middleton made this year’s first royal appearance on day four of Wimbledon 2026 with somewhat of a departure from her usual game-day style. An SW19 mainstay since her first appearance in the Royal Box in 2011, the Princess of Wales has stuck to the same formulas: polka-dots, forest greens, tennis whites-inspired looks, pleated dresses.
In the tournament’s first week, Catherine tried out a bit of a wildcard: an amply cut, breezy double-breasted suit in periwinkle-blue with coordinating tailored pants by Gabriela Hearst and a white top underneath. On her next trip to watch the women’s singles finals, she was a lady-in-red in a Roland Mouret peplum drape dress.
Today, Princess Catherine—who is Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, after all—brought children George and Charlotte, as well as husband Prince William to watch Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in the men’s singles finals match.
Princess Catherine met with British semi-finalist Arthur Fery.

She wore a new, bespoke version of an Emilia Wickstead wool crepe midi dress with a caped top, styled with a favorite toffee-colored DeMellier Nano Montreal bag and gold Ralph Lauren Celia pumps. For jewelry and other accessories: Van Cleef & Arpels motif earrings, a Halcyon Days gold torque bracelet in aquamarine, and the AELTC pin—a green and purple bow brooch which is the tennis institution’s official emblem. Her hair was styled in loose, glossy waves and swept over one shoulder to cascade down her back. Princess Charlotte, meanwhile, echoed her mother in a sky blue tea dress with frilled sleeves.

It felt like a true return to form for Kate Middleton—a classic look updated for her current penchant for things more flowing and draping—who in previous years has worn a brilliant green Roland Mouret pencil dress and Self Portrait pleated dress in a tennis ball shade.
