Madison Beer may have sang about the swell of emotions that emerged when she reached the end of an intense relationship on her latest album, Locket, but now her love life seems much rosier. The pop singer just announced her engagement to Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.

Beer and Herbert first sparked dating rumors on Aug. 18, 2025. The two of them were photographed together on the set of one of Beer’s videos in Los Angeles. Paparazzi snapped them chatting and laughing with each other, getting the internet talking.

Beer and Herbert went public when they were photographed kissing on the sidelines of SoFi Stadium before a game between the Chargers and the Washington Commanders. Beer appeared on the podcast “Call Her Daddy” and spoke about her mental health efforts and a past suicide attempt. During the interview, host Alex Cooper asked her how a partner has helped her while recovering. Beer brought up her relationship with Herbert, calling him “fully supportive.”
