Future Announces ‘THE REAL ME’ Album Release Date: ‘Album of the Century’

Pluto will kick off the album rollout with a single titled "Radio" first thing Friday (June 26).

The Story

Future season has returned. The Atlanta rap dignitary announced on Thursday (June 25) that his THE REAL ME album is slated to be released on July 10.

“Album of the century JULY 10th,” he declared in a post to X. In a separate tweet, Future promised that a “Pluto summer” is on the way.

To set the album’s rollout in motion, Future’s set to release the project’s lead single first thing Friday, which is titled “Radio.” He teased the track’s music video on his Instagram Story, which will also arrive on Friday.

“This not for the radio,” he half-croons. “The biggest n—a in town, even when I’m not in town.”

Future made THE REAL ME official with an announcement earlier this month on June 15. “Album title: THE REAL ME,” he wrote to X while confirming the LP’s title.

THE REAL ME will serve as Future’s first album since going back-to-back with We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You in 2024, both of which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured Metro Boomin as the sole producer.

Future has been making noise while gearing up for the project. In May, he squashed his feud with Drake as the What a Time to Be Alive collaborators reunited on ICEMAN standout “Ran to Atlanta,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Hendrix also crafted a FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem with Tyla titled “Game Time.” The duo performed the track for the first time earlier in June at SoFi Stadium for the World Cup’s Opening Ceremony in Inglewood, Calif.

DJ Khaled also recruited Future and Lil Baby for “One of Them” in April, which landed at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 and will appear on Khaled’s upcoming Aalam of God album.
