Let Florist’s Emily Sprague “Sing To” You on New Single

The composer and singer-songwriter is readying a new solo album, Cyano

The Story

Florist’s Emily Sprague has a new album on the way. Called Cyano, it includes “Double Moon,” which she released earlier this year, alongside 13 additional tracks. It’s due October 2 via Rvng Intl.

Today, Sprague also shared a new song from the album, “Sing To,” as well as a video directed by their real-life partner V Haddad. The visual intersperses footage from a trip the pair took to Iceland with clips of their Upstate New York home, a fitting backdrop to Sprague’s spectral vocals and wandering synth arcs.

Cyano marks Sprague’s latest LP under her real name, but her first on lead vocals—her most recent record with Florist, Jellywish, came out last year. Although Sprague has yet to announce any tour plans in support of Cyano, she does have a show coming up this month with Grouper. The duo will perform at New York City’s Town Hall on September 15.
